I've updated AMP to 1.7.1.0 as well as my Minecraft ADS instance.

I created a new user to login to the system and when testing the login it gets stuck on "Initializing UI". I took a look at the debugger and the following error is being produced:

Uncaught (in promise) TypeError: Cannot read property 'value' of undefined
at Object.getSettingsCallback [as callback] (AMP.js:1043)
at setupCalls (AMP.js:600)

It appears as though /API/Core/GetSettingsSpec is returning a result in which all of the arrays are empty. That is causing currentSettings["GSMyAdmin.WebserverSettings.EnableWebSockets"].value() to produce an error since the previous loop is unable to set such a value that is not present in the result.

I believe the user settings are not being generated when they are created.

It's a known issue, workaround above or wait for the next update :)

Can confirm that this is a problem.

The latter is probably easier.

Thank you for the quick reply.

Is there a way for me to give that permission to the user or will I have to update to the nightly build?

It's a known bug that has been fixed in the nightly build. It's caused by the added user not having permission to read that setting.
