Session Key Mismatch, Text Fields Broken, Drop Down Menus Empty, & Overlapping Menus.

We spent about 4 to 5 hours trying to troubleshoot several issues we experienced with a fresh instance of AMP Pro installed on Debian 9 using the quick install script provided on https://cubecoders.com/AMPInstall

We experienced issues with text fields not accepting inputs, empty drop boxes, and overlapping menus in the left sidebar.

We tried every modern browser with the same results even with plugins and extensions disabled.

Upon reviewing the console there appears to be an a session key mismatch happening in the background.

The console outputs this:

Authentication attempt for user AMP from 1.4.3.2 Authentication success Managed remote instance ADS01 at http://domain.com/ Authentication token for AMP requested by ManageInstance on behalf of AMP Authentication attempt for user AMP from 9.5.9.9 Authentication success 1.4.3.2 tried to use session ID fecbb9ee-db89-4136-b019-2430a8b444ce - but that session belongs to 9.5.9.9

As a last effort we tried on Windows Server 2019 and this didn't solve any issues.

I noticed that in all cases after installation the license doesn't register any keys have been used.

We attempted debian 9 at least 5 times and Windows Server 2019 once. After each "failed" install the server was rolled back to clean install and config. The .ISO's used were standard images provided by their respective publishers.

Screenshots can be provided upon request.

Are you using any kind of reverse proxy or caching proxy like Cloudflare?

dfranks posted this 3 weeks ago

We do not use proxies, no.

Can you post some screenshots? The issues you describe sound like caching issues but it's a new installation.

Would it be okay if I emailed them to you?

Only if they contain sensitive data, otherwise just redact them before posting.

Are you running on CentOS perchance? Also are you using a high-dpi display? It looks like parts of the UI are in Mobile mode.

dfranks posted this 3 weeks ago

We were using Debian. Some of the screenshots were cropped.

Not sure the dpi, but we were using a surface, 2 laptops, and connecting to the server through an RDP session and via chrome for the dashboard.

Can you try connecting directly please instead of via an RDP session? Also the session mismatch messages can be ignored for now.

Keep in mind we were also using this on Debian with the same exact results.

It's most likely a frontend issue of some kind. Are you using any kind of ad-blocking plugins? I can't reproduce this issue on the current version.

Yes

We tried every modern browser with the same results even with plugins and extensions disabled.
