Reverting to AMPCache-19910 (assuming this is a backup before the update) fixed the issue for me. My game instances are running fine. It is just the main "controller" instance.

Windows Server 2019 Datacenter.

Finally got the update to go through. On Server 2019 Datacenter during the update process not all AMP processes are stopped causing this issue. Please fix the AMP Instance Manager to stop all AMP processes related to the controller so the update process can complete successfully. Wasted 45 minutes on this problem.

I had the same issue and per the discord i ran the following;

ampinstmgr --nocache upgradeall and let the system do it's thing upgrading all the instances. At some point the network service for ADS got changed so had to unregister and reregister that as well.

ADS would launch but instances wouldn't which from the logs was due to network service not having ownership of ADS.
