OS Name/Version:

Ubuntu 18.04.2 LTS (GNU/Linux 4.15.0-52-generic x86_64) The issue suddenly appeared after I rebooted my linux server.

Product Name/Version:

AMP Release "TITAN" v1.8.1.4, built 18/06/2019 09:23

Problem Description:

Can't manage my McMyAdmin instance anymore.

Steps to reproduce:

  • Login to AMP
  • Click on "Instances"
  • Double click an instance (in my case "McMyAdmin")
  • See error: "Cannot manage this instance This instance is not the same release stream as this ADS installation. ADS is on the Release release stream, but this instance running the Mainline stream."

Actions taken to resolve so far:

I've tried ampinstmgr --ChangeInstanceStream McMyAdmin01 Release, but that says "Release is not a valid release stream". I've also tried ampinstmgr --UpgradeInstance McMaAdmin01. It says "Upgrade complete" but that doesn't fix the error.

I'm having the same issue.

As a workaround for now, turn on "Ignore Version Compatibility" under Configuration -> ADS.

I'm not seeing that option under Main Menu -> Configuration -> ADS

ampinstmgr --nocache upgradeall will fix it now.
