Continuing this thread

It appears that the MAC address did not change

However, I should note that before reboot I was able to successfully create and run an AMP instance of Minecraft, but after rebooting I can't start that instance I created, with the license error

Can you re-activate the instance like so:

./AMP_Linux_x86_64 +Core.AMP.LicenceKey YOURKEYGOESHERE -safemode -configonly

Then start the instance as normal, check that is operates as intended.

Then stop the instance safely, and reboot.

Once rebooted, check that the licence is still accepted and valid.

Sorry I didn't get back to you, life got a bit busy. Oddly enough once I reactivated the license the server functioned normally after reboot. Thanks for the support

Hello,

today i moved my AMP Instances from an old Server to my new more powerful server. I also get the Message "AMP may not run without a licence". If i try to re-activate my license, i get the following error:
[15:44:14] [Core:System Info]     : Performing activation, please wait...
[15:44:14] [<addlicence>d__16:System Error] : Couldn't activate: System error.
[15:44:14] [Core:System Info]     : Failed to activate: Server Unavailable
[15:44:14] [Core:System Info]     : -configonly specified or activation performed. Saving settings and shutting down.

How can i solve this issue?

ClockxHD, delete the existing licence files. Also make sure the IM and instances are on the latest version.

You've told AMP to use an invalid IP address. Make sure the IP address you give it shows up in ifconfig.

ClocxHD posted this 17 August 2017

I told AMP to use 127.0.0.1, because i use a Reverse Proxy.
