OS Name/Version: Ubuntu 16.04.5 LTS Product Name/Version: AMP Release "Hawking Starman" v1.7.0.0, built 21/12/2018 01:55

For some reason I am getting this message now when trying to connect to my Minecraft instance to manage it.

Failed to login to remote instance - Authentication passthru is disabled on the controller.

For the life of me I can not figure out how to fix it.

See AMPConfig.conf in the controllers AMP instance and you'll see a setting called PassthruAuth

this is what that section lookslike already

Security.PassthruAuthLocalOnly=True Security.AuthFailureTimeWindow=5 Security.AuthFailureAttemptsInWindow=5 Security.TwoFactorMode=Optional

It's set to LocalOnly which will reject remote logins. Set PassthruAuthLocalOnly to False.

Ahh, thanks for the sanity check. I read that wrong. Appreciate the help.

I changed that to False (shown below) and then rebooted the server, just for good measure, and restarted AMP. Still getting the same message.

Security.PassthruAuthLocalOnly=False Security.AuthFailureTimeWindow=5 Security.AuthFailureAttemptsInWindow=5 Security.TwoFactorMode=Optional

Also, I might add that, this was working fine for months. Then suddenly I noticed this issue and nothing has been changed other than processing the updates.

Delete ADSModule.kvp, restart ADS and re-run the setup.
