Backup of Minecraft (java) error with "same key has already been added"...

I have a Pop! OS (Linux) server running AMP with a java Minecraft instance of a forge modpack, Valhelsia 3 v.3.2.4. I have 8MB of 16MB allocated to the instance. All seems to be running fine, except when I try to take a backup, I get the following error: "Unable to complete task This task could not be completed: Creating Backup - backup (17896 MB). An item with the same key has already been added. Key: world/minecolonies/minecraft/overworld/colony1.dat"

There is about 1TB free on the 4TB external disk that the amp directory was moved to from the internal default location, following the directions in the wiki. The instance was previously running in Crafty Controller, which had made its own backups. The directory from that instance was zipped and moved according to the directions in the wiki. When I look inside the instance directory, I can see a backups directory and notice that backups are being made every two hours, yet these do not show in the AMP interface. This appears to be the backup schedule that I previously made using Crafty Controller, but it is not listed in the Schedule nor the Backups listings.

How can I manage and schedule the backups and have them listed?

Do you have two files with the same name but different casing?

Ah! There were odd files named "minecraft/overworld/colony1.dat" etc. that were somehow created which likely confused things since they could be interpreted as a file in a directory path. Deleting those odd files with slashes in the names cleared it all up. Thanks for the clue that lead to the solution!

That would indeed confuse things!
