OS Name/Version:Ubuntu Server 18.04 "Bionic Beaver" LTS (64bits) running on OHV hosting

Product Name/Version: MCMyAdmin from this link

Problem Description: install goes most of the way - or appears to. However, I can not access port 8080 even though I have opened it on firewall

The IPtables commands given here work until this last command

iptables -A INPUT -p tcp -m tcp --dport 8080 -j ACCEPT iptables -A INPUT -p tcp -m tcp --dport 25565 -j ACCEPT /sbin/service iptables save

This last command, /sbin/service iptables save does not work and results in "no such file or directory". I used the power of the Google to use the ufw command to get around this, however, while it shows open ports, I can not access http:/myip:8080

If you run netstat -lntu does it show that the port you're using for MCMA is listening?

If it is then your firewall still isn't configured correctly, if it isn't then MCMA isn't running.

The port is not open. I have no idea how to open the port.

That means the instance associated with that port isn't even running. You should check its log.
