Hi Guys,

Just a quick question around backups, I understand how to take a backup, setup a schedule etc. however I'm curious if there is a way to limit what it backs up?

I only want to backup the worlds, the same way that McMyAdmin does, however AMP wants to backup literally everything including plugins, etc.

This is a problem for me as I have dynmap running using its local webserver which causes AMP backups to be unpractical as they're nearing 120GB in size per backup, whereas it would just be a couple GB if it was only backing up the worlds (which is really all I need backed up).

Is there any possibility to limit what is taken in a backup?

Hey there, this might help you:

oldforums.cubecoders.com/chat/backup-exclusions

(couldn't add this as a link because oldforums isn't listed as trusteable yet, sorry.)

Basically create a .backupExclude file on each directory you want excluded, and its contents empty, or you >can add filenames to it, so it'll back up the directory except those files.
