Hi,

I'm having an issue with the very slow file transfer speed using API mode and AMP. I am getting around 20kb/s transferring a 1GB file to my server which is on a local network. To compare the file transfers in less than a minute using FTP. The only problem is that AMP has a separate user that I can't seem to get permission to access on my server. Also, file transfers are sort of sketchy, as in I can't leave the instance while it is transferring, and it only shows how much the file has transferred every 5MB.

  1. Why is this transfer speed so slow?
  2. How can I get access to the AMP user on my server?

Thanks

The transfer speed is slow because it has to open a new connection for each file chunk. The web based upload is only meant for small uploads such as config files. For anything bigger you either need to be running in Direct mode, or use the built in FTP server.
