Why does AMP keep losing its licensing???

First off I'll start with a compliment as the AMP platform is a great way to manage game servers. My issue is that each instance keeps losing its licensing and there is no easy way to refresh this licensing. As of right now none of my instances will start and the logs state that there is no valid license. I have logged into the server and ran the stop command then the command to install the license but its not working. See snippit of last line of info. Any help to get these instances back online would be great along with how to make sure they dont keep losing their licenses?

How is AMP installed? Do you have any VPN software installed? What is the networking setup?

AMP is installed on Ubuntu 20.04.3 LTS as a virtual machine. It seems like everytime I restart my host and the virtual machine is interrupted the licenses are lost. Ubuntu is a basic bare bones install with nothing else on it. When AMP is working all my servers are happy and I have no connection issues whatsoever.

What type of virtual machine is it? Does the MAC address change each time it starts? If the system has such an option, make sure it has a static virtual MAC address.

So you were correct the NIC for some reason was set to generate a new Mac address upon reboot. Strange because the other 2 VM's I have are set to a static MAC. So im going to assume that was the issue. But now how can I get the licenses reactivated on the server? I switched user to amp and ran the stop command then the license command but I receive the message below. Otherwise the command seems to run ok.

You can ignore that :) All you need to do now is re-enter the licence key into ADS (Configuration -> New Instance Defaults) and it should tidy itself up.

It still says the same thing in the logs even after entering the key where you mentioned.

No valid AMP licence was found. Please run ampinstmgr reactivate MineCraft to reactivate this instance.

Make sure Automatic Reactivation is enabled. Failing that you can do ampinstmg reactivateall to reactivate everything in place.

Automatic reactivation is enabled and I tried the command to reactivate all. It runs fine but they still wont start even though it says I'm using 4 licenses.

Can you triple-check that the issue of the MAC address changing between boots has been resolved? In Virtual Machines this is the single biggest cause of unintended deactivations.
