I have the same issue, just updated everything to v2.5.0.4.
Also have the same issue. Checks for updates, verifies install, quits, repeat one time. Stops.
Currently running version 2.5.0.4 - 20240404.5
Same issue… Using version v2.5.0.4, built 04/04/2024 18:29
Search the forum, answered multiple times. You need to update your INSTANCE to get the latest config as the Palworld devs changed the executable name
i’ve been updating my instance and it still leads me to the infinite loop of it trying to install and not starting… if you’ve solved the problem then at least show the steps on how you did it
Same here. It’s all up to date, yet it just reinstalls every time I try to start.
The instance (AMP) and the server (Palworld) are different things. You are updating the server, but not the instance.
Click Return to Instances. Stop the Palworld instance. Click update. Select “I have taken a backup” (even if you haven’t).
Thank you for spelling it out. After I did that, I was able to start it from that same screen and it worked, finally.
